| In 1999, wine makers, tourist agents, farmers and businessmen from the community founded the "Project Group-Wine Village Kaltern". This was the beginning of "wein.kaltern". A few years previously, the local village council had commissioned a business analysis to be conducted about the village, and it was discovered that Kaltern had the potential in becoming a prototypical "Wine Village". At this point, it was logical that something had to be done and the Project Group initiated the process. |
